Andy Taranto (born June 23, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey right wing currently playing for the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. ==Playing career== Taranto played 3 seasons of junior hockey in the United States Hockey League, spending time with the Omaha Lancers, Ohio Junior Blue Jackets and the Fargo Force. With the Force he led the league in goals for the 2008–09 season with 34〔(Eliteprospects.com 2008–09 USHL stats sorted by goals )〕 and was named to the USHL Second All-Star Team.〔(eliteprospects.com list of USHL Second All-Star Teams )〕 After the USHL Taranto attended the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and played 4 seasons for the Nanooks in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) in NCAA Division I. Taranto played 2 regular season games for the Aces, but also slotted into 6 playoff games scoring 3 goals and 2 assists for 5 points.
